Recommended Pairings

  • Honey: Chestnut Honey

Chestnut honey, with its intense and slightly bitter notes, pairs perfectly with the sheep's milk aftertaste of the cheese, offering a rich and refined contrast.

  • Pearls: White Dressing and Truffle Pearls

White Dressing and Truffle Pearls add a sophisticated touch to the rustic flavor of the caciotta, adding an aromatic element that enriches the taste experience.

  • Compote: Onion Compote and "Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI"

The onion and balsamic vinegar compote, with its sweet-sour balance, enhances the natural sweetness of the cheese, creating a harmonious and persistent combination.

  • Gelatin: "Lambrusco di Modena PDO" Gelatin

Lambrusco jelly, with its fruity and slightly tannic flavor, adds a lively and balanced touch that complements the delicacy and structure of the caciotta.

  • Cream: White Cream with Truffle

The white cream with truffle enriches the cheese with an elegant and earthy note, creating a sophisticated and satisfying pairing.

  • Purissima: Pears

The pear jam, with its sweet and delicate flavor, pairs beautifully with the balanced taste of the caciotta, offering a harmonious contrast.

  • Traditional: Mostarda Fina di Carpi

The mustard fruit mustard adds a spicy and fruity note that enhances the authentic flavors of the caciotta, perfect for a rustic and traditional tasting platter.

Beer: Perfect with an Amber Ale beer, whose full character balances the sweetness and structure of the cheese.

Wines: It pairs beautifully with a soft and aromatic white wine, such as a Chardonnay or a Greco di Tufo, which enhance the balanced profile of the cheese.

Bread: Ideal with homemade bread or baguette, which enhance the compact consistency without overpowering the flavor.

Other Pairings: Excellent with fresh cured meats such as prosciutto crudo or mortadella, and with vegetables in oil for a complete and traditional tasting experience.

Recommended Knife: We recommend a smooth-bladed knife for semi-hard cheeses, for a clean cut that preserves the cheese's compactness.
